Now that my green 2000 base Boxster is "finished" and up for sale I have turned my attention to the engine that was in it, the one that I bought on eBay in 2020.
I will change the camshaft tensioner pads and a few other things.
First negative discovery was some scoring on the bank 2 camshaft bearings which is discussed here:

I have decided to reassemble as is, since the alternative is a complete new head, given that the bearing surfaces are machined into the head and the cam cover.
