The bottom of the center section of the seat just pulled free - I think the stiff bar at the bottom clips into something. The top / center should be pulled up, out of the 4 white nylon clips. The leather on the side bolsters appears to be simply stuffed into the dark gray clips. You should be able to see the top of the air pump which can be pulled out vertically with the wiring, which I had to cut.
I took another look at the original pump's fluid end. The plastic pistons with a flexible collar must have worn in 26,000 miles (how often was the lumbar used)! I can see light around them. Looks to be a poor design for longevity.
