Engine from a 2000 Boxster S. The engine spun a connecting rod big end bearing, there was copper bearing material in the oil pan. 169259 KM when the engine failed.
The engine has been totally disassembled. The connecting rod with the failed bearing should be replaced and the crankshaft has to be reconditioned ($400 estimate). There is minor scuffing in some of the cylinders. Photos and more information here:
What can I do with this 3.2l engine?
No alternator, CPS (crankshaft position sensor) or A/C compressor, all other parts are there.
I would prefer to sell the entire engine to someone local who can pick it up, but I will sell parts separately if the complete engine does not sell.
