I felt the same way when I first used my stand, I was sure that something would break. But 3 engines later I am starting to feel confident Just make sure the bolts are long enough and that the threads are good in the holes that you use. I bought long bolts and had to put washers on them to not bottom out in the bolt holes, but "better looking at it than looking for it".
