Preparing for new exhaust on my 01 S (headers eliminating front cat, CA DOT rear cats) & looking for alternatives to PIWIS found this:

As an ancient software developer I'm leery of black market PIWIS due to possible malware & general inaccuracy although others swear by it. OTOH The hardware fix looks sketchy.
