Had to move them from the lower garage to the upper, so I rolled them 2 at a time up the sidewalk. When I got done I was short of breath and had a strange feeling in my chest - thought I'd injested too much cold air. Decided to take a break, maybe have some lunch, and then put the tires on. But the feeling never went away. It felt like a fist grabbing and squeezing my upper chest. Then the fingers on my left hand started to feel a bit numb / tingly. And a bit of clamminess set in. Too many signs. Took a quick shower, then called a friend to take me to the ER. Immediately had surgery for a stent and spent another 1.5 days in the ICU. My EKG looks good and the DRs say my heart is operating at normal levels and any damage will be repaired. Lots of DR and rehab apts coming, but for now I feel normal. I just can't lift anything heavier than a gal of milk.
I was lucky and appreciate the opportunity to spend Christmas with my siblings.

Dont let it get you down. These things can play with your head. The good news you now know what it feels like, that's a key. I dont smoke or drink, not overweight and exercise. Family history of crap hearts. I had a heart attack in August 1997, had 2 stents put in. 2014 I felt those feelings again., a warning sign, had to have the stents redone. In 2020 felt them again, triple bypass and a valve, 2 weeks later rode my bike 7 miles, not supposed to, felt great. Get plenty of exercise and watch your diet, you'll be fine.. 👍
