All i did was get a circle shaped plush tap....Used to place under lamps, speakers and other stuff that could scrape the surface of wood or what not...Then i placed it on the hump that the bottom center of the windscreen sits on top of to lift the screen into the latches that hold the 2 corners of screen, pretty much stops it from rattling... My latches broke in the same spot also, Its sort of a curved peice of plastic, The Plush tabs will insulate that noise quite well.

I also replaced the 3 rubber tabs from my black plastic honey comb windscreens behind the driver and passenger seats with these soft plush tabs. They are alittle thicker than the rubber and they totally stopped the rattle from the screens.

A sheet of almost 50 of these tabs cost me $1.99 at Home Depot.... Goto the Door Knob section of Home Depot and they will be there.
