Really, if you aren't sure why it's blowing warm, or the seller isn't...asking a bunch of people on the Internet why isn't a good idea. For someone who has apparently sold multiple Boxsters you should have an idea what it could be, or at least be able to estimate the costs of various parts/labor.
It's just a car, there are too many reasons why it could not be working correctly and it's no different then any other car ever made. A/C is A/C.
