Clutch pedal "pops" back

I picked up my new to me 2000 Boxster base. Car was cheap at an out of town dealer, but near some relatives. They did a walk around and test drive. After I picked it up, I did the a rear wheel bearings, and yesterday was able to fix the top, it ended up being just a broken cable (everything seems to be moving freely otherwise).

It made the 400 mile drive home like a champ, so pretty pleased, but I noticed on fast shifts it feels like the clutch pedal releases slower then I can move my foot. If I just pump the pedal, it pops up.

I assume this isnt normal, and plant to flush the fluid/bleed. Also going to look for a pinched line restricting flow. Anything else I should be looking for?
