Smoking rear brakes

Just completed the first full shakedown of my in progress 986 S track car yesterday. Overall went well, car held up well and I was able to pick up speed as I got more and more comfortable with the car.
However, after the first really hard session of the day (3rd of 5) I noticed quite a bit of smoke coming off brakes after the session even after a couple cooldown loops in the back of the paddock. I went and cooled down a bit more, and went away. Same thing after 4th session, did extra cool down this time. After final session, I only noticed it from the rears, but still there. Anyways, I chalked it up to cooking the new Ferodo pads a bit and made a note to check into it more later and also invest in some more airflow to the rear brakes.
But, then after the car was completely cold, drove 10m to a nearby restaurant after the event to meet some guys for dinner and when I got out at the restaurant parking lot, the rears were stinking of burned brakes and smoking again! Now I'm starting to get concerned. Next morning, same thing. Had the car towed home and going to dig into it this week to see what's going on, but figured I'd ask the collective wisdom on here first for ideas.
I thought maybe parking brake could be stuck, tried engaging and releasing it aggressively a few times to see if it'd break loose, didn't help. Checked for brake fluid leaks, didn't notice any around the brakes, but did notice a tiny bit around reservoir though not much.
Car took on a lot of water a couple weeks ago, and I read that can cause problems in the booster. So my main culprits to check are stuck high pressure in brake lines, booster, stuck caliper pistons, or stuck parking brake shoes. Any other ideas?
