So I wired in led footwells light to my 99 Boxster a couple of years back. Last year I decided to update to the newer overhead light with the ambient yellow light. I originally ran the wires up to through the A-pillar and wires to the overheadight, positive soldered to y-connector and negative tapped into red/black wire. When I switched lights I decided to use the wires from the footwell. When I did it his I noticed that I would blow a fuse if I used my side mirror controller. So I decided to go back to original light but need to see the connector plugged into the light to see which wires go where.
