If the replacement tank wasn't oem, the bleeder valve could well be sub-par. I had a bleeder valve split wide open at a track event causing a dump of coolant just in front of my right rear wheel during a hairpin turn! You can imagine what happened! I'm all for aftermarket but coolant tanks and their bleeder valves need to be top notch!
