Great thread guys! I did use the 3M 06384 tape as suggested by a few, but it did not hold up. I decided to go with a different 3M version that is 7/8" wide instead of 1/2". The tape I used was 3M 03616. Removed all the old tape etc, vacuumed channel, cleaned with Denatured Alcohol, applied the 3M tape to the inside of the channel where the end of the top seats, and also on the top of the frame, where the old tape was installed. Letting it sit for 72 hours in my heated garage at 72 degrees F, top in service mode. Will close top and check for fit. Hopefully it is tight!
Issues were:
1. This is a 2003 top on a 2001 S. Sagging window would not allow clamshell to seat all the way.
2. Inside of top had too much play, and would flap sometimes at highway speeds.
So, looking forward to testing it out after it seals over the next few days.

Update: Here is finished product. Looks great and is tighter.
