I drive that regularly. It can get a little hectic on the Glendora side. Tour de Bike's, Mt Bikes, all manner of motorcycles, horses, runners, hikers. I even had to dodge 3 skateboard luge guys one morning. Those guys are truly bonkers.
We are blessed in SoCal with great roads. Pick a canyon and nail it.
