I wrap cars for a living...not going to say that $350 is absurd

but I would figure it would be closer to $200. Honestly it would take a competent installer about 20-30 minutes to do the whole job...the hardest part would be removing the hood badge. I would highly advise using Avery SW900 or 3M 1080. I prefer the avery personally but they both are good films. The material comes in 60" rolls and runs just under $30 a yard for the more common colors. $3500 for a wrap would be pretty high for a boxster unless it was one of the more expensive film finishes...we usually charge around $3500 for a full size truck though pricing does vary around the country. FWIW I just finished wrapping my dad's Z3 and it cost a little less than $350 in materials to do a complete color change. What people don't realize is that there is a lot of work involved in disassembling the car and prepping it to do the job correctly. You can easily spend half a day or more removing molding, weatherstripping, badges, etc.
