I've got a plastic cover covering some Bosch circular thing in the back left of my facelift 02 plate. Just under the brake fluid cowels

It's not there on my dads prefacelift 2000 model. Any ideas what it is? only thing 'extra' i have over my dads 986 is that I have PSM and sport seats.
