I don't know anything about removing the Immo, but if you're looking to delete it for cost purposes, you can probably have yours repaired or replaced for what the Immo removal would cost you. And your car will retain it's VIN, and functionality because the memory from your original unit would be transferred to the replacement one.

There's a guy on this forum who can do this. He's been recommended in a few threads.
