1 - Yes. Could also get them painted to match exterior color - more common on 996. Def from 986 based on wear mark (hitting rollbar) and seat back pouch (missing from 996 IIRC)
2 - No idea on price but definitely commands premium over std and especially plush seats. Was sportiest seat option and most comfortable one, in my opinion, of the era.
