maybe....if the bearing seizes then you have an issue...the belt will be forced to slip over the now stationary pulley which will cause friction and will melt the belt in a few mins...then of course the engine will start to run hot since the water pump is not circulating coolant.....you will need to shut down the engine and either replace the belt on site or get towed....this can be tricky if you are in heavy traffic with nowhere to pull off the road...

most likely you have some time until the bearing seizes but i would not go too long or too far until the problem is identified and corrected.....
