I didn't remove the front panel. I did it from the top and bottom. I took off the top hose from the top. I did the bottom hose, the bellows and the bolts from the bottom. I jacked it up and took the wheel off. I removed the AOS from the top. Then just reverse order to put the new one in. It's a PITA for sure, it took me like 3 hours to do the AOS, purge valve and oil change. Have fun.
