Thanks to all the responses. Jaykay not unhappy just unimpressed. The real issue lies with Porsche's decision to use a cast part. The high ridge is actually the casting parting line that was not ground down flat. This could vary from pedal to pedal. Can't expect Rennline to accomodate an inferior finish when their covers are a universal fit part. Typical Porsche brake levers are a solid steel bar with a plate welded on it. I have attached a link to a 997 pedal that is constructed as I would expect. In fact if it could be replaced easily I'd buy it, but I'm not sure you could get that pedal out with a cutting torch. And PLASTIC....

Just wanted anyone contemplating these covers to know they may require additional work to make right. Now I do like those SRP pedals.
