Regardless of the method (Photoshop, etc), I think we can all agree that it's just an artistic rendering...done by an artist who's only seen a picture of a 986.

Or perhaps the book wasn't approved by Porsche, so subtle changes had to be made...at least it's not called "PORCSHE-The Legendary Models".
