I think you could get a new mover's blanket from Harbor Freight and bungie it to the seat back. In the past, I've slipped a heavy t-shirt over the back of the seat, it helps to reflect the heat.
When parked in the summer sun for more than a few minutes, you probably should put the roof up to protect your interior.
