If you know for a fact that there is no more freon in the system (don't vent freon into the atmosphere!) rig up dry shop air into the system, m80-90 psi will do, and listen for a leak or check with soapy water. I found the leak in my 986 within 10 seconds that way (corroded low pressure line underneath car).
