Agree that the lock is pretty useless, I ditched mine when I started doing HPDEs and needed to check my lugnut torque all the time. You should check your car thoroughly to make sure the key isn't hiding somewhere though. Check the little pouch in the front/bottom of the spare tire cover, the tool kit roll, glove box, arm rest compartment and both the frunk and trunk, especially if you have lots of stuff in them. Even look to see if it is wedged under the spare. If you don't find it anywhere in your car, give the Discount Tire store you bought from a call. They may have it sitting on a shelf waiting for your call. They may have found it and are holding it waiting for the rightful owner to call and claim it. I'm not making excuses for them, but they put lots of tires on cars and the key doesn't say Porsche on it, so they probably wouldn't know who to call if they were so inclined.
