I'm assuming that you have the base "two-way" seat where only the seat back is power operated.

The recline control can be easily pried off with a screw driver. If your upholster didn't lose it, there is a small spring beneath the switch that gives it some tension. So if you remove the switch, watch for the spring. Once you have pried off the switch, you will see to white "nipples." These control the recline motor. Pushing on one moves the seat back forward. The other moves it back.

If the micro switches are working, it may just be a matter of aligning the large black switch over them properly.

You will note that the seat recline switch didn't need to be removed to reupholster the seat.
