Mike, You're fine. Your shocks were designed for the full travel of the stock suspension. The damage I referred to would be internal. Can happen on slammed cars using non stock components that have significantly altered suspension travel causing the shocks piston rod and valve to be the limiter on full compression. Guess I only brought up to emphasize the suspension should be thought out as a system designed for an intended purpose instead of just mix and match parts, especially now that these cars are so cheap that we are seeing modifiers going for look instead of purpose.
