I’m guessing visibility is the issue. My wife is 5’2” and needs a 2” thick seat cushion to get to a comfortable position even with the seat at max height. BTW lowering your seat an inch or two will have no appreciable difference as regards handling on a street driven Boxster due to “lowering the center of gravity”.
