For example, if I put a Boxster on order last week, and was quoted an October build date, and then late November delivery date, does that seem reasonable given your experience? Does the vehicle get built at any time during October, and then what happens afterwards? -- does it take four weeks for the car to get over here? Or should I expect an even longer wait after that?

I realize nothing is set in stone, and there are several variables at play, but any additional color you could provide about this process would be much appreciated. I've done a little searching on the forum, and really couldn't find much on this subject.
