I have a 2007 Boxster with the Sound Package Plus CDR24 audio system. I am looking into replacing the head unit with a CarPlay compatible system and I am wondering if anyone has found a way to display the RDS Radio info on the on board computer center display like the stock system does after putting in an aftermarket head unit. I saw a post somewhere that seemed to imply this may be possible but I haven't been able to find the post again or get any information on how to do it. Is this possible? If so is it only for certain head units? Any information would be much appreciated.
