I don’t prescribe personalities, genders or names to my cars or bikes, but I do have an affinity for motorized vehicles. I admit to talking to them and forming bonds with them.
While helping my friend kickstart his stunningly restored, recently acquired ‘69 Triumph Bonneville in his 35 degree garage, his wife observed of me, “you’re talking to it”. I told her “you bet I am, how else do you think I’m going to convince it to start?”
