It sounds like the plugs for the cluster are not fully engaged. When you reconnect the plugs, make sure the sliding part of the connector is in all the way, it should kind of "snap" to let you know it is 100% connected. It's been a while since I did mine, but I think I had to test it 2-3 times, so I would recommend getting everything connected, then reconnect the battery and check it before reinstalling all of the screws that hold the cluster to the dash.

Thanks Rick. I thought I heard that CLICK but obviously with no gauge lights, then something needs to be checked. Will try again tomorrow.
EDIT:
On second thought, I will check the fuse to make sure I did not ground one of the wires as it would seem strange that all 3 plugs are not seated all the way into the cluster.
