Made the decision to pull the current engine out and replace with a decent donor engine. A rebuild will be attempted with the engine that has suffered what I do believe is thrust bearing failure, won’t know for sure until it’s been torn down to parade rest. So, I’ve removed all the braces, exhaust, transmission, all while dealing with late hours on a ship that’s having engine issues of its own. Tonight’s work on the box? Draining coolant and removing connections from the trunk! Pics may or may not follow of this project, maybe one of my 7 year old wearing earmuffs since I’ve been loose with the harsh language.
