Epoxy; you need to grind to the bare metal 1st bud. Bond must be made with a metal-to-metal category epoxy, make sure of that. Degreasing the surfaces around is paramount also (use acetone). Re-assemble at room temperature (read label) and there is technically zero reason it wouldn't work as good (even better) than a industrial weld.

Careful with the grinding (dremel-a-lizing whatever you'll end up using). Try to keep the tolerance of the posts near intact, if you can (gods are good at these sort of things)
Precision/hard job but can be done
