Those posts will never solidly reattach without proper brazing, and as said, that would destroy the finish and enamel. I would just forego the posts and use a moderate adhesive to stick it to the hood. Permatex Black Silicone Adhesive Sealant would be perfect (great bond without being permanent or damaging the paint).
