Nah...the cross-over would help balance the two banks, and cancell out some resonation in the cab of the car. Thank god you didn't get a Flowmaster on your car. FlowMasters sound pretty crappy IMO on ANY V6, 4 cyl...... on the V8's they're pretty loud inside the car (resonance)...performance wise they do better than stock but...not as good as a straight through muffler, and they have a poor warranty and built pretty flimsily.

Sorry for the rant on the Flowdisasters....I was a Sales Manager at Magnaflow for a couple years. My conclusions are drawn from seeing how the FM's are made and how they break down. Plus after visiting and speaking with the Shops that put them on, and hearing the customers complaints.....I would only recomend a FM on a V8 to someone looking for that signature raspy flowmaster signature sound.

You'll only get a CEL light if you mess around with the Catalytic Converters/O2 sensors....or in some cases I've seen a CEL on cars with exhausts that flow TOO much.
