I think you'd best be served by a 2nd or 3rd quote. That quote looks too high to me. My indy actually dropped the engine and the trans to do the work, which I don't think many standard installers do. He purchased the IMS directly from LN. My quote was $2,800 with the AOS with the Tip. It came to $3,200 with the RMS due to the labor. The IMS Solution was $1,200 vs 800 for the Retro fit I think.
