That sounds logical, but I'm not an expert. My car had the stock Base suspension when I rebuilt it with the Bilstein's and H&R's. It had 51k miles when I did the rebuild.
My goal was not to lower the car, but to stiffen up the suspension. I accomplished a stiffer. firmer ride and got a little lower stance as a side benefit.
