Removed some tacky plasti-dip from the previous owner and also discovered that the recent locking/unlocking issue that suddenly cropped up was due to the roof locking mechanism not quite engaging the microswitch correctly. Problem solved. Dropped the roof and went for an hour long drive through Hockley Valley and Forks of the Credit. Now I remember why I bought this car!
