Could be wrong but I don't think folks necessarily go for the performance bit when looking at buying an affordable but stylish wheel. More of a look/attitude than anything else.

Mind you, I have a set of forged ultralight and they resonate like a crystal vase when I pinched them with my finger nail. Read I CAN'T go on roads that I am not familiar with at the risk of busting/exploding one or more of my wheels. You can also read this as "not fun at all". Many here have experienced it, heard & seen it, not taboo.

Compromises are hard decisions sometimes. Waste of money is some cases :/
