I have also considered a lift, so please post updates on your research and decisions. We seem to be on the same wavelength regarding mods (e.g. glass window top, 5-gauge cluster, homelink) so your thoughts on the lift should be enlightening.
I'm thinking that a 4-post lift would work best for me since I would like to store two cars in one garage. I'd like to see how you address issues like the height of your space, and accommodating the garage door opener.
