Right. I didn't mean to imply that it required a new frame. It does have to be installed on whatever frame you intend to use, presumably your old frame, and that will cost about $700 to have professional done. I have swapped an engine and installed two IMS bearings and I cringe at the though of installing a top on the frame.
My point is that you can buy a good quality new top (on or off eBay) that will fit the 97-02 frame, rather than buying a 12+ year old top from an 03-04, but it will not be any cheaper unless you do the install yourself.

Mine has no problems with fitment. It was supplied by the installer, but I think it is the same top that is available from the eBay vendors.
