It should work fine, but just regular old electronics cleaner is all you really need.

Btw, if you replace the sensor on the '00 model, pull your old one first so you can check the part number. If you have the ....124 in there now and you get the ....125, then the dealer has to update your computer (at a price, of course. ) I just replaced mine with another ....124 sensor and I'll deal with replacing it again in another 80K-100K miles.
