So offtopic on the lingo here... is there local differences? british/us/aussie english?
If straight translated into swedish:
rim = fälg
tyre/tire = däck
wheel = hjul
And the usage of those would be that "fälg" is the metal, "däck" is the rubber and finally "hjul" is the two parts assembled together =D
