I had to do some travel for work and decided to take THIS rather than a rental car. My drive took me across eastern Oklahoma, western Arkansas, a moment in Texas, and into Louisiana.
I had planned on driving the length of the
Talimena Scenic Byway on my way home, but I was worn out from the trip, so just cut through the middle of it. A nice scenic twisty road and I plan to go back.
I pulled over a couple times to let slow trucks get further ahead of me.
At one stop, a State Trooper stopped for moment just to make sure all was okay - then he accelerated away, clearly enjoying the road.
Oklahoma isn't all flat...
Heavy thunderstorm ahead, time to take the bra off before it gets soaked.
Well north of the storm and the sun is setting.
A nice drive and a good car for the trip, now to make time for some cleaning and polishing in the days ahead.
