Don't buy it!
If that's what you can afford to spend on a car and you're thinking "Sweet a Porsche." It's going to cost a lot of money to get it current and right. If you can do the work yourself, it'll still cost a lot.

Do buy it! If it's a car that you can afford to have sit, either in the shop or in your garage and you want a very cool car.
Personally, I would spend the extra money up front and enjoy the car.
