Crisis averted. Before I totally FREAKED out, we borrowed an older Autel scanner and actually got some fairly normal readings: 3.53 for bank 1 and 5.54 for bank 2.
So much for that $4k Mac Tools scanner. That said, looks like I'll be doing a teardown to replace the pads soon....
