This happen to me when I took my old 986 to the
Dealer to replace the air flow mass sensor.

You have to enter the radio code in other to use the radio and The air bag light was on.

According to the dealership, mechanic disconnected the battery to work in the Air mass sensor.

I call the dealership and they asked me to bring it back.
The dealer have to get the serial number of the radio and
Call Porsche to get the radio code. It is a 4 digit number, usually in back of the Manual. It just happen that I did not have the manual this Boxster.
It took about 20 mins. The air bag light was reset and getting the radio code was done dealership free of charge.

If you get the radio code save it because every time you disconnect The battery you have to re-enter the radio code.
