Hi,

the catch can showed in the video is a kind of an AOS, but it works different.

The 986 doesn't have DFI nor does it have low friction piston rings.

If you track the car, you can think of a smart solution like j.fro did. But if you don't track the car and if your AOS is working properly, i think there is no need for an additional catch can.

Also please consider that the line between the TB and the AOS is a negative pressure line. So the solution has to be 100% leakproof. Also the catch can system is not allowed to influence the negative pressure value. That will lead to engine problems.

And the catch can should be servicable easy - which isn't that easy to implement, because of the available space.

As a summary: check you AOS regularly and clean the TB maybe every 60 K miles and everything will be fine.
