The vendor in the UK that sold the switch to emulate the Airbag Deactivation Bar has dropped off the map, so I'm going to build my own. It's just 4 resistors and and Double Pole, Single Throw (DPST) switch (see attachment). Once I have it built I'd like to make sure that I did it right and won't damage the airbag system in my 986S.
Could someone in possession of the Deactivation Bar plug a multimeter into the output from the buckle and let me know the resistance (ohms) with and without the buckle inserted?
